With the introduction of compression-only CPR for cardiac arrest, many people don’t realize that CPR for drowning is different and requires breaths and compressions.

EMTs, paramedics and nurses are invited to attend this free half-day conference featuring keynote speaker Justin Sempsrott, M.D., FAAEM, with Lifeguards Without Borders, who utilizes videos of actual drowning patients to discuss the history, definition, physiology and treatment of drowning patients.

Special thanks to LIfeNet Arizona for sponsoring the appearance of the keynote speaker.
