TMC Auxiliary Volunteers are a crucial part of the Tucson Medical Center team, supporting more than 40 areas of service, including entrance points, clinical units and transportation of both patients and visitors. In addition, through three Auxiliary-operated retail sites, the TMC Auxiliary is able to donate back to the hospital to help fund medical services and programs.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Tucson Medical Center. Please note that we do not faciliate interships, externships, observerships or shadowing.
The TMC Auxiliary was created in 1949 to support clinical staff at TMC and as a charitable fundraising arm for TMC. Our volunteers encompass a wide range of talent, including former TMC employees, recent retirees, college students and those looking for an opportunity to give back to the Tucson community.
Volunteers serve in many capacities:

Currently, TMC is not able to accept those looking for court-ordered community service hours, high school students, tobacco-users, individuals without a Social Security number, or anyone who is not able to commit to at least 100 hours or six months of volunteer work.
