Dr. Daniel Ruderfer is a board-certified pediatrician, specially trained to treat infectious disease in infants, children and teens.
He thoroughly reviews each child’s health history and challenges, working with parents, primary care providers and other specialists to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses immediate needs and benefits overall health.
Dr. Ruderfer values building a strong rapport with families, who establishes a comfortable and inclusive treatment setting by listening thoughtfully and including parents in health-care decisions.
He earned a medical degree from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency and internship at the NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, New York, where he also served as chief resident and as an attending physician. Dr. Ruderfer then completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Originally from New York City, Dr. Ruderfer and his wife, who is also a physician, enjoy the culture and warm weather of Tucson. He has two children and enjoys spending his free time with family.
