Oh, My Aching Back!
Back pain is an all-too-familiar problem that can range from a dull, constant ache to a sudden, sharp pain that leaves you incapacitated.
It can come on suddenly — from an accident, a fall or lifting something heavy — or it can develop slowly, perhaps as the result of age-related changes to the spine. Regardless of how back pain happens or how it feels, you know it when you have it. And chances are, if you don’t have back pain now, you will eventually.
Tucson Medical Center, in cooperation with the Center for Neurosciences, Tucson Orthopaedic Institute and Arizona Connected Care hosts “Oh, My Aching Back," a monthly series on back and neck pain. Topics include:
- March 20 Back Pain in Mid to Later Life
- April 24 Weekend Warriors -- Getting back in the game after a back injury
- May 22 Workplace Back Issues
Talks are 5:30 - 7 p.m., in Marshall Conference Center on the TMC campus, 5301 E. Grant Road.
