Alicia Moura, Director of Communications
Moura began her career as a journalist, but quickly moved into marketing and communications. As a marketing consultant, her previous experience includes managing online marketing and public relations strategies for over 300 clients across various industries. She has also served as the head of marketing for an online marketing agency, as well as a local travel agency. She has extensive exposure to cross-cultural practices and international business protocols, particularly in Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and the U.S.
Michael Letson, Communications Specialist
Michael Letson has been a member of the TMC Communications Team since 1995. With a UA degree in Journalism, Letson has been a local radio news director and anchor, and has previously worked in Tucson public relations with University Medical Center and Hughes Aircraft Company. His areas of emphasis with TMC include internal communications, publications and support for media relations.
Aquil Hameed, Communications Specialist
Aquil Hameed has joined the TMC Communications Team. An Arizona native, Hameed graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Technical Communications, and has 8 years of marketing communications experience. He most recently worked in the financial sector with an emphasis in online marketing and lead generation. Aquil has a background in both the engineering/construction management and healthcare industries, with special knowledge in implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies.
Kimberly Romo, Communications Specialist
Kimberly Romo recently joined the TMC Communications team, with deep roots to the community as a 9th generation Tucsonan. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a Communications degree, and has more than 10 years of broadcast journalism experience. Kimberly anchored the morning news and reported on health stories at KGUN 9 in Tucson. She spent time working in the pharmaceutical industry before joining TMC. Kimberly has a special emphasis on community benefit programs, internal and external communications, and media relations.
Kathy Navarro, Executive Assistant
Navarro is an executive assistant in the Community Benefit Division and supports the Vice President of Community Benefit as well as the other members of the division. Kathy has worked at TMC for 15 years and provides a wide variety of support from scheduling meetings, making sure TMC is well represented in the community at various events to paying our vendors and working at various TMC-related events.
