Tucson Medical Center is a leader in exceptional cardiovascular care in Tucson and Southern Arizona.  TMC has received three accreditations from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care(SCPC), an independent, nationally recognized accreditation authority.  We have met or exceeded a wide set of stringent criteria, demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality care for patients with complex cardiovascular problems.

Tucson Medical Center has been named one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® for 2015 by Truven Health Analytics. The Truven Health 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® study evaluates 1,000 hospitals in key performance areas. The study, it its 16th year, has been conducted annually since 1999. This is the third time TMC has been recognized with this honor. The selection was made based off of Truven’s annual study of more than 1,000 U.S. hospitals. From our Emergency Department to our Open Heart Surgery Center to our Cardiac Rehabilitation and everything in between, patients can expect top-level quality cardiac care.

TMC offers a complete continuum of services for cardiac patients, including cardiac team, five-room cath lab suite, one of the state’s most active cardiothoracic program and cardiac rehabilitation.

TMC promotes community collaboration among professionals such as surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, surgical teams, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and others.
