Starting therapy as soon as possible after surgery is a very important part of the orthopaedic recovery process. Getting up and moving helps prevent blood clots, is beneficial for a new joint and is good for a patient’s lungs. Our orthopaedic acute therapy gym has the newest equipment available, including a full kitchen and bathroom where patients can practice daily living activities that will help them to to safely transition home. The gym is staffed with dedicated physical therapists and occupational therapists, as well as full-time therapy aides, seven days a week.
