TMC for Senior's Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias Support provides group support through the Alzheimer's Association. Services under this program include community resource information and family consultations.

Available to families and individuals by appointment.

Education & Outreach

  • Lending library of books related to dementia
  • Local resources available such as Alzheimer’s Association brochures and support groups available in the area
  • Monthly Alzheimer's film and discussion series

Alzheimer's Association Support Groups Hosted by TMC for Seniors

  • Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group for caregivers of someone with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, meets on the first and third Thursday of each month, 10:30 a.m. to noon.
  • Younger Onset Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group for those caring for someone with younger-onset meets on the second Wednesday of each month, 5-6 p.m. Also known as early-onset Alzheimer's disease, it affects people younger than 65.

Alzheimer's Film and Discussion Series

This monthly documentary film series and discussion about the challenges and impact the disease has on care partners and family, is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:30-3 p.m. Film titles are listed in our quarterly event calendar.

Virtual Dementia Experience

This  two-hour session allows you to experience a little of what it might be like to have dementia, enabling you to identify with an better understand the behaviors and needs of those with dementia. This program is underwritten by the Rascob/Palus Family Match Challenge through the TMC Foundation.
