Hospice

What is palliative care?
For people with serious illnesses, palliative care aims to provide relief from symptoms and pain to improve quality of life. Palliative care, which is sometimes called comfort care, can be offered in conjunction with curative or aggressive medical care. While hospice is considered palliative care, not all palliative care is for those at the end of life.
