What if I have an urgent medical problem after hours?

If you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

For requests for appointments, rescheduling or appointment cancellation, please contact our office during business hours Monday through Friday.

For routine medication refills, and non-urgent questions or concerns, or referral requests, please contact our office during business hours Monday through Friday.

All after-hours calls should be limited to urgent medical situations. Call your provider’s office directly and you will be connected to a live operator to triage your call. To help us with a timely response, please be ready to give us the nature of your problem, a number where you can be reached, and any other important medical conditions and allergies you may have. Please note routine prescriptions  generally are not refilled after hours, (some rare exceptions may apply).

The provider taking urgent medical calls after hours will determine if your call requires you to go to an emergency department or urgent care, or if it is appropriate to be seen by your provider during business hours.

Tucson Medical Center Emergency Department is our affiliated emergency room for emergency conditions.
