Biography

Dr. Kevin Aranas is board-certified in pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics.

During his pursuit of a medical career, Dr. Aranas saw a growing need for developmental behavioral pediatricians. He is a big proponent of early intervention, as it provides the most impact in a child’s development.

Dr. Aranas works to keep his patients and their family informed about the various available resources and services in the community. This includes providing information that help families connect to individuals and institutions that can help in navigating the system. Families who have children with disabilities are burdened by the challenges they face at home and the community. Through the services and resources, these challenges can be alleviated. The goals include improving the child’s function in the environment, allowing the family access appropriate therapies, informing the family about school options, and informing the family about additional medical options that can be pursued.

Dr. Aranas earned his BS Environmental Heath from the University of Washington before attending Cebu Doctors’ University for medical school. He then completed his pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Patterson, NJ, and developmental-behavioral fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
