Many people find that support groups are tremendously effective in helping them cope with the day-to-day realities of having Parkinson’s disease. These groups offer social and emotional support to patients and their care partners, education and information from peers and professionals, and a chance to be active for oneself and for others in the community. Members give and receive information and encouragement through the mail, phone calls, and group meetings.

People with Parkinson’s meet in the Seniors Resource Center at the El Dorado Health Campus and caregivers meet in the Seniors Conference Room. Call 326-5400 for information or click here to view the calendar.
