Dr. Divya Reddy Pati specializes in endocrinology, helping patients address medical issues involving hormones that regulate important functions within the body. She diagnoses and treats diabetes, thyroid problems, calcium disorders, osteoporosis, pituitary, adrenal and other hormonal disorders.
She is a graduate of Osmania Medical College, a top medical school in India, and completed a three-year internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona. Dr. Pati then continued her training and education, graduating from a UA fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
Dr. Pati has a strong interest in connecting with patients and empathizes with the challenges of chronic illness.
“Having grown up taking care of my grandmother with diabetes, I realized the impact of illness on patients and their families. During my training, I recognized giving patients my full attention and listening to their experiences made a significant difference.”
After five years of residency and training at UA, Dr. Pati felt a special bond with Tucson and made it her home. She has a passion for travel, but prefers to spend her free time with her husband and two young children.
