The Post Critical Care Unit delivers excellent care to a diverse population of high-acuity patients and makes for an excellent pathway into critical care.
We are a fast-paced 36-bed, step-down unit, with 12 private rooms and 24 semi-private rooms. Our RNs and PCTs pride themselves in mentoring new hires to become successful in their health care roles. Case managers and pharmacists are present on the unit to assist in delivering timely patient care.
The RN coordinates patient-care planning with other disciplines utilizing the principles of the nursing process and critical-thinking skills in order to maintain patient safety and well-being.

Current RN licensure permitting work in the state of Arizona and current cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, certification. BLS upon hire, ACLS recommended.
